Halloween Chiller Shakes

Bone chilling drinks to shake up your Halloween!

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 30 mins

Ingredients:

Glass decorations:

Aguafaba icing:

  • 1-2 tbsp of chickpea water
  • 7-8 tbsp of powdered sugar

Cinnamon nice cream:

  • 3 frozen bananas
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom
  • 1-2 tbsp maple syrup
  • Optional: splash of plant based milk, if needed

Orange shake:

Strawberry-matcha shake:

  • Ice cubes
  • 250 ml oat milk (or milk of choice)
  • Half part prepared nice cream
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp Rawnice Matcha Powder

Directions:

  1. Prepare all decorations: make the scary strawberry heads and sugar ghosts using aquafaba icing. Melt white chocolate and mix with 1 tsp pink pitaya powder.
  2. Decorate the glass with melted chocolates. Keep everything in the fridge.
  3. Prepare the nice cream, and freeze while making the shakes.
  4. Whip the oat cream and divide into two. Add 1/2 - 1 tsp of pink pitaya to one part and mix.
  5. Make the shakes.

Aguafaba icing:

  1. Whip the chickpea water.
  2. Add 1 tbsp sifted powdered sugar at a time, until the mixture thickens.
  3. Use a piping bag to create decorations.
  4. To make sugar ghosts, prepare a small sheet of baking paper. Pipe the icing in little ghostly shapes. Set aside in the fridge to set. When set, add "eyes" by piping in some dark melted chocolate.
  5. To make the scary strawberries, cut out a little hole in each strawberry. Fill the hole with melted dark chocolate. Create the "teeth" by piping in the aguafaba icing.

Cinnamon nice cream:

  1. In a food processor or blender, place all ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Store the nice cream in the freezer in between making shakes.

Orange shake:

  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
  2. Pour into the decorated glass.
  3. Top with whipped oat cream, shaped as "ghosts."

Strawberry-matcha shake:

  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
  2. Pour into the decorated glass.
  3. Add pink whipped oat cream on top and decorate with strawberries.
